TJS Polytechnic College strongly believes that education extends beyond the classroom. The institution encourages students to participate actively in extra-curricular activities that promote physical fitness, leadership, teamwork, discipline, and social responsibility.
Sports & Physical Education
The Polytechnic has appointed a full-time Physical Director to organize and supervise sports and physical education activities. Regular training programs, tournaments, and sports events are conducted to promote physical well-being and sportsmanship among students.

Each student is required to participate in physical training for a minimum of one hour per week, ensuring balanced physical and mental development.

Aim of NSS

Objectives of NSS

Duties of NSS Volunteers
- Establish rapport with the community in project areas
- Identify community needs, problems, and available resources
- Plan and implement service programs effectively
- Apply learning and experience to address identified problems
- Maintain systematic records of activities in work diaries
- Periodically assess progress and suggest improvements
